Create-A-Village began operating in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania in 2007 and has associates ready to expand our programs to Uganda, Kenya, and the Philippines as funding becomes available.

No Tanzanian city exemplifies the world’s urbanization trend more than Dar es Salaam—the 9th fastest growing city in the world.  Unsanitary squatter towns surrounding Dar es Salaam provide a fertile breeding ground for water born-illness, malaria, and HIV/AIDS.  As a result of these preventable diseases, average life expectancy has dropped to 44 years and falling.

Create-A-Village has selected Tanzania for our pilot project because of its great need, but also because of its proven commitment to peace, democracy, and economic development.
